English Speaking Nanny job
Are you an experienced nanny with Early Years' experience and looking for a wonderful new nanny job?
I am recruiting for a very caring nanny to step into the life of an exceptional Swiss family where you will be part of the nurturing and development of a little girl, nearly two years of age. This job is to start as soon as we find the right nanny.

My client lives in Switzerland with his two sons in their early twenties and their little sister, the apple of their eye. The family all speak German, French and English and would like for the little girl to learn English from her nanny.
So who am I looking for? You will have devoted your career to working with children and have nurtured many and think very highly of your nannying skills.
You will be a nanny who enjoys the friendship of a child and you love your nanny career. You may come from a teaching background or pure nannying, have a solid working history, are knowledgeable about the early years and how to create the most wonderful learned and magical childhood for a little girl.

You will enjoy riding a bicycle in the summertime, as the family home is located in central Lucerne and it’s a great way to get around and you also need your driver's licence to get around during those wintery months.

A nanny who has a positive mindset, is self-disciplined and organised and one who is experienced at creating lots of fun, intelligent and stimulating learning environments for the imagination to flourish.

As with all families, you will have a well-tuned awareness, knowing when to be alongside your charge, but also knowing when it's time to step back allowing the family their time together.

The family would like a nanny with a kind nature, who gets on well with other members of staff (all French & English speaking) as the home is fully staffed including another French speaking nanny. Also, the family would like a nanny who will help raise this child so her feet are grounded and she is not treated like a princess.

The working schedule is 4 days on / 4 days off, working on rota with the other nanny. Whilst working your rota shift you will be with the child all the time, and you will sleep in a separate room close to the child's room. Whilst in the house there is a chef who prepares meals for you and the child.

During your four days off, the family provide a single apartment which is situated away from the family residence in Lucerne, such a beautiful part of the world to live in!

Visa requirements for a nanny to work in Switzerland:
- British or European Union nationals who have worked in the UK or in an EU country as a nanny for the last 5 years
