I am looking for an enthusiastic nanny to work with a lovely Russian family who have 5 children, aged between 11 and 6 months old.
This is a nanny share job with one other male nanny.
The family are based in Switzerland and have houses in Zurich/St. Moritz/Lugano/Geneva
You will be working as a general nanny and also there to help the children develop their English language skills.
You will also be required to help around the house such as making sure the children's room is clean, taking turns with the grocery shopping and sometimes cooking for the children. Usually the maid will do the cooking but sometimes the nannies would have to help out when the maid is not working.
The children are very active and sporty therefore you must also be very keen on sports and happy to be active each day with them. The parents would also need you to educate the children on etiquette and manners so it is important you value these in yourself.
It would be a bonus if you have a drivers licence, however not essential.
Working hours:
The position is a full time position and the working hours vary during the day. The maximum working hours per week would be 60 hours. The children go to school therefore you would have breaks during school hours.
You will be working six days per week.
You will also be required to travel with the family during their International holidays. When on holiday you will be working more hours, however this balanced out with the time off during school hours in the school year. However, like any private tutor or nanny job it is very important that you are flexible with your working hours.
Benefits:
- 12 month contract
- 4 weeks paid holiday per year
- Accommodation: Studio accommodation provided.
- Salary: Depending on experience. However for an experienced teacher or nanny the salary is £2000 per month - paid in cash. If you want your salary to be declared in Switzerland then the salary would be £3000 BRUT. Social security + taxes in Switzerland are about -20% from the brut salary. Therefore net salary would be about £2400 if you would like it to be declared.
- Meals provided during working hours and if taken at the family residence.
This is a really exciting job opportunity for a male nanny to live in Switzerland for the year or longer if you enjoy the job.
To apply you must have experience with children of this age and be a positive and happy person.
