Travelling Governess Job - My UHNW clients are recruiting for an experienced high quality Governess to work specifically with their 18 month of son. The clients are from Moscow; however their lifestyle is very transient and with so the job involves extensive international travel.

The family seek a high energy Governess, who regards herself as a professional and is looking for a very good opportunity in her next Governess role. This family are flexible on start date and are prepared to wait till they find the right candidate.

My client searches for a Governess who has very good pedagogical knowledge and a sound understanding of developmental activities within the Early Years. The family are looking for a qualified teacher who has knowledge of the UK curriculum. The candidate must also have experience working with children inside a family environment, so previous nanny experience would be ideal.

You need to be well spoken, take pride in your appearance have lovely manners and knowledge of correct etiquette. English needs to be your first language to apply for this position please. Ideally you will be outgoing, positive and full of life.

You will be eager to develop the charge and have the skills and knowledge to do so. You will need to be very fit and active and comfortable working whilst travelling through various times zones and countries. You need to be a confidant swimmer and if you can teach children swimming this would be highly desirable.

Whilst based in Moscow, you will live with the family in a luxury property however will have your own space including room and bathroom.

Responsibilities
• Sole charge responsibilities (this is shared with Russian Nanny who offers night duty etc)
• Full nanny / governess duties
• Focus on the development of the child’s English language and comprehension skills
• Travelling expected with the family so comfortable with constant time changes
• Expertly devises fun, creative learning opportunities that appeal to the child’s specific age and developmental stage
• Engage the child in imaginative, hands on activities to develop the eventual speaking, listening and comprehension of the English language
• Maintain a professional, patient, flexible attitude to last minute requests, travel plans and changes to provide a good role model and promote a calm, happy environment despite disruptions
• Build excellent relationships with non-English speaking staff at all levels and in many different locations, fitting in well to maintain smooth running of routines, security and travel plans so the child feel safe and secure

Requirements
• English speaker with Teaching and or nannying background

• Qualifications & experience are essential PGCE or BEd,
